Hello lovelies, sorry I haven't posted in a while, but don't worry I
won’t make a habit of this :)
Today I wanna talk to you about H&M.
As you all well know I am a big fan and love their pieces. It’s by far one of
my fav high street stores. I was very excited to hear them announce their new
range would be out this month, but I hate to tell you... I couldn't be more
disappointed with it. Such an anti-climax!
As soon as I noticed the shop window
display, my heart sank, what a disappointment. Their new range might as well be
called "Neon Trash!" rather than "Neon Splash." So what
makes this range so bad?
well... firstly, if H&M wanna bring
back the 80's era, they are going the wrong way about it. When you think of the
80's, you of course start singing wham! "Wake me up before you go-go"
in your head, don't deny it! But fashion wise, immediately you think of bright
legwarmers, outrageous tutus and snazzy sweatpants. It’s as if they have
decided to start creating a fancy dress range! although the 80's sounds like an
era I wanna be in, it’s not coming back any time soon and the colours of
H&Ms new clothes just scream "THE 80'S" down your ear!
Secondly, besides the hideous colours, the
clothes themselves are lacking in quality. Have H&M decided to use a new
crappy manufacture we don't know about it! The clothes seem like they would
only last five minutes.
Finally, to finish off my rant, "Neon
Splash" couldn't be tackier if they tried, their mannequins couldn't have
clashed anymore. If they wanna try promote and sell this monstrosity of a
clothing range, they could at least make it look fun and fashionable, if that's
even possible!
Sorry to rant at you lovelies but it had
to be said! As usual please comment, as I love reading your opinions and would
like to hear your view on the new range. I can tell you I won’t be shopping
there for a while, that's for sure!
